The Catholic Church has a rich history of Saints that we can reach out to, to intercede for us. The Saints were regular human beings with all the human frailties, emotions and hardships that we face. Learning about their lives, helps us to realize that we too can aspire to being saints, or at the very least, that we can be true bearers of Christ to one another throughout our day to day lives.

We encourage you to read about the saints and find a way to become a little more Christ-like each day!  If you are a Mariner or Maritime Worker, find the saint that speaks to you most.  If your spouse or child is a mariner, perhaps you will want to read about St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, the mother of two mariners!
